Every time we sign a contract with a new client, we have one goal in mind — success. For this project, our customers had past experience with the success of Excel’s numerous services, having a bathroom remodeled and a deck built by us already. After these exceptional experiences, this couple came back to Excel one more time for the finishing touch on their desired renovations. They were ready for a modern kitchen remodel in Chanhassen, Excel style.

As you can see, their old kitchen was dark, dated and just didn’t leave enough room for the couple to cook and enjoy the company of others. The kitchen, 12 years old at the time of remodeling, had custom-made maple cabinets, laminate countertops and a hickory floor. All durable elements, but seemingly disconnected.

The final result, shown above, is much more spacious, stylish and modern. First, we installed all new maple cabinets that we painted on site. Next, we refinished the hardwood hickory floor throughout the entire home. Then, by replacing the laminate countertops with two-toned granite, we offset the clean look of the white cabinets, injecting some contrast into our design. We then installed a tile backsplash and two new Marvin and casement windows. Finally, we hooked up one of our favorite clients with all new appliances – now that’s kitchen remodeling service done right!
