Place larger windows in your bathroom. The natural light will brighten up the room and decrease the look of shadows. It will also open up your bathroom so that it isn’t constrained to the 4 walls of your bathroom. It also gives you the chance to look out at nature while you are getting ready in the morning. One area that you need to consider with this tip would be the lack of privacy. Make sure that you do have shades or curtains on your windows.

Also, something else that you should consider is open shelving. It looks more like a table, but it opens up your bathroom.

If you do install large windows during your remodeling, the glass doors will allow the natural light to come into your shower to make it brighter while you are showering. Glass shower doors also give your bathroom a modern, elegant design.
