When our clients contacted us they like many of our clients, found us on Angie’s List. Their home was built in the early 1990’s with dated oak cabinets, and an inefficient layout. For this project, we designed the new kitchen within the same space with a similar layout. The big change with this project was the island. The island went from a 2-tiered bulky triangle to a single height rectangle, with beautiful architectural leg and a soft curve in the countertop. Along with the island, the cabinets were tweaked to be more efficient throughout, complete with Rev a Shelf accessories. From the dated box oak cabinets, to beautiful custom-built cabinets, made by Artisan Cabinet Company there was a drastic change. These cabinets were built and installed raw, then painted on site; the color used is Benjamin Moore Cake batter. We accented the cabinetry with countertops by Caesar Stone & Hanstone, then completed the look with a marble backsplash, and a two tones of bronze hardware and lighting.
This kitchen design was a tall order to be done in a very tight timeline, and we were able to complete this gorgeous kitchen on time and in budget! Just in time to surprise the extended family and guests for Christmas!
