For this traditional home Chaska, the clients were ready for a whole new look, without changing too much in the home or adding additional cost. We worked with the existing lighting locations, and left ceiling, millwork and main flooring as is. To bring this all together, we decided to remove the wall between the kitchen and dining area, this allowed us to stay within the budget, by leaving post. We had our sister company Artisan Cabinet Company make the cherry cabinets with a rich cherry color stain and chocolate glaze. For the flooring, we used a rustic faux wood tile plank diagonally laid. Then to soften the rustic tile floor, we added a creamy marble diamond shaped backsplash. Finished the space off with Benjamin Moore Nantucket Gray for the wall color, New black stainless KitchenAid appliances, and beautiful lighting selections from Ferguson Showroom.
