Project Goals for This Carver Bathroom Renovation
Originally built in the early 2000s, this master bathroom featured a dated oak vanity and corner bathtub. The design lacked any of the eye-catching, spa-like elements that make a master bathroom an at-home oasis. So, the homeowners reached out to the Excel Builders team to create an elevated design that suited their every need.
The main objective of this bathroom remodel was to create a functional space without sacrificing any visual appeal. Our team worked closely with the homeowners to develop a design concept they loved, which included helping them identify the needs and wants for their new master bathroom. At the top of the list? A larger walk-in shower and soaker tub. With a clear understanding of what the homeowners envisioned, our designer put together a design that checked all their boxes.
From Bland to Beautiful
Once we had a new and improved design plan in place, our team started demolition. We decided to work within the existing footprint, which meant tearing out the old fixtures and finishes. With everything except the framing and subfloor gone, we had a clean slate to work with – and it certainly paid off!
The wow factor in this completed bathroom remodel is off the charts! With warm finishes and custom touches, the final design is anything but boring. The new white oak vanity is a custom piece that was designed, built, installed, and finished on-site by our in-house cabinet shop, Artisan Custom Cabinets. The glass-enclosed shower is a showstopper with a custom-fabricated curbless shower pan, herringbone tile floor, a porcelain panel on one wall, and a stacked tile and niche on the other.
